The Guardian is an internationally renowned U.K. based newspaper.

XCL engineers optimise the internet services platform for the Guardian and Observer newspapers in the testing, pre-deployment, and production environments. These heterogeneous environments comprised of a total of 200+ servers running a mix of Solaris 8, 9, and 10, and RedHat Enterprise 3 and 4. Engineers installated, configured, and maintained various blade-based servers, including Sun B1600 chassis (using B100s blades) and IBM BladeCentres (using HS20 and LS20 blades), along with various Sun V100, V210, E420R, and IBM DL380 servers.

XCL also assisted with the digitial transformtion of the Guardian Jobs site migration from an in-house solution to a third party application service provider.
